Workforce Development

90% of Africa's youth in low to lower-middle income countries and the biggest challenge they face is the lack of formal jobs. In these countries, 10 to 15% of youth labor force participants find wage employment, while 30-50% are virtually employed.    

The official number of unemployed Americans is 10.1 million, according to the Labor Department. This statistic comes from the monthly jobs report that the Labor Department puts out the first Friday of each month, which shows the official unemployment rate at the moment is.3 percent (Department of Labor, Feb 19, 2021).     

Workforce development leads prosperous employees, businesses, and local communities. By training and increasing the skills of the workforce, BBI can reduce global crime and create a happier workforce, lower turnover, and exciting growth opportunities — not to mention support growth for the economy as a whole.
