At the helm BBI International’s President/CEO Dr. Gus C. Spurlock Sr. leads the organization as an international first responder’s disaster organization. He is on a lifeline mission to guide individuals both spiritually and physically into better ways of living.

Dr. Spurlock leads BBI International’s Headquarters from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Through his exceptional leadership and many years of high-profile contacts in Louisiana and across the United States, he helps disadvantaged people, especially the youth, accessing a multitude of special services and has been a leader in reorganizing and rebuilding New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Dr. Spurlock is recognized by his peers as a leader and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Master’s Degree in Science Theology and Doctoral Degree in Biblical Studies. He is a Graduate in Capital Theology and also taught in Voices Crime in the Wilderness Seminary wherein he was also the founder. He pastors two churches, Mt. Zion Baptist Church on the Hill located in the historical part of Port Hudson Louisiana and Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in the historical south Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. Dr. Spurlock also graduated in the State and National Congress of Christian Education for the Sunday School Publishing Board, obtaining a 5-Star Certificate.
