Ms. Nadia Najma, Director of Logistics and Security, possesses a Bachelor’s in International Logistics and is fluent in French and English. The dominant languages spoken in Mauritania are French, Arabic and 20% English. Ms. Najma possesses 17 years’ experience in the International Humanitarian Sector. Ms. Najma has worked in the Non-Profit Sector in Sudan, Ethiopia, and Mauritania. In Mauritania, she worked 7 1/2 years with Action Against Hunger and 1 year with Solidarity International. She led the Logistics and Security Division within Action Against Hunger.

In Sudan, she worked with Action Against Hunger and Aide Medical International (AMI) leading all work associated with the Internal Displaced Peopled (IDP) Camp for Refugees wherein 85,000 refugees resided. Ms. Najma served as the Director leading the Logistics and Security to distribute food to families in the Internal Displaced People (IDP) Camp as well as provided food in the Health Center. Ms. Najma also led the rehabilitation of the health center, water and sanitation drilling wells, food, and cash distribution. In addition to the logistics duties, she was also in charge of the Security Division within each Non-Profit.

Ms. Najma is the proud single Mother of twin boys ages 11 and currently resides in Mauritania working with BBI as the Logistics and Security Director. She has written two Concept Papers for BBI’s Sponsor a School Program and Clean Drinking Water by Drilling in the remote places of vulnerable communities. She is also assisting Executive Director Gwendolyn Hubbard in preparing marketing materials in French and together they will pursue Donor Visits to the oil, gas, mining, banking, government, academic as well as Mauritania social media and marketing efforts to raise funds for BBI.
